Bailey Bonham is a 10 year old from Mahomet, Illinois and in the 5th grade. She is currently the
2023 Little Miss of America. One of her passions is community service and volunteering
throughout the state. Bailey’s pageant journey began in 2021 when she decided to compete in
a local fair pageant and was named the 2021 Little Miss Fisher Fair Queen. In 2023, she was
appointed Little Miss of Illinois based on her academic record and community service work. A
bulk of her community service efforts have been stocking local food pantries. She takes every
chance she gets to volunteer throughout her community and has been involved with local
cleanups of fairgrounds, fundraisers and assisted in a variety of Shriner’s fundraisers. One of
her favorite charity events she has assisted with is the Shriner’s Circus where she has greeted
attendants, helped count tickets and sales. Bailey is involved with a variety of sports including
basketball, softball, dance and cheer. She was given the nickname “Bulldog” by referees due to
her aggressive playing ability yet calm demeanor. Bailey was recently awarded “Ms. Caring” by
her 4 th grade teacher for always looking out for the happiness of others. Bailey looks forward to
representing the youth across America and being a role model for younger kids and kids her
age. Bailey has made amazing memories with her queen sisters and is looking forward to
inspiring others during her reign. Bailey would like to encourage everyone to pick their favorite
treat and drop it off at a local first responders station with a “thank you” card to brighten their day.
