      Lauryn Lynch

Little Miss of Virginia, Lauryn Lynch was crowned Little Miss of America 2019 Thanksgiving weekend 2018 in Orlando, FL. Lauryn was 8-years-old when crowned. Lauryn also won the optional Sportswear and Personal Introduction competitions during the national pageant. She is the daughter of Gregory and Angela Lynch of Forest, Virginia.
Lauryn is a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) student at Liberty Christian Academy (LCA), where she maintains a spot on the All-A Honor Roll. Lauryn is a top reader in her class, consistently reading four levels ahead of her current grade level. She received an award for highest percentage correct in the Accelerated Reader program.
As Little Miss of Virginia, Lauryn had the honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and led the Pledge of Allegiance to open a Bedford County Board of Supervisors meeting. She hopes to someday be elected Virginia’s 9th President of the United States.
Lauryn received the Leadership Award as a member of the LCA Bitty Bulldogs competition cheer team. She has cheered for four years. She also enjoys baton twirling and swimming. Lauryn appeared in a feature film and has a shoe named for her.
She is the founder of “Lauryn’s Bear Necessities”, which collects stuffed animals for children in crisis due to poverty or natural disasters around the world. She also volunteers for her local humane society, where her favorite job is being a cat socializer.
Lauryn is honored to represent American Pageants as Little Miss of America and believes in what the program stands for – recognizing girls and young women for their achievements.
