Ms. of America 2022

    Kimberly Driggs

Kimberly Driggs was excited to represent the Grand Canyon State as Ms. of Arizona in 2021. As a 3rd generation Arizonian, she has a great love for the people and history of her home State. That love is matched by the admiration she feels for our beautiful country. At 51, Kimberly was the oldest contestant in the National pageant held in Atlanta. Not letting age, or the fact that this was her first national pageant hold her back, Kimberly stayed true to herself and won the overall Poise, Projection, and Personality category in all age divisions of the pageant. The privilege of then being crowned Ms. of America is an honor she will uphold by expressing pride in this great land and its amazing people. Kimberly lives near her childhood home in a suburb of Phoenix where she raised her four children, ages 17 to 27. In addition to her work in fitness and at local non-profits she is active in her church including teaching Sunday School and having served as President of the children’s youth organization. She teaches fitness at a range of institutions from a community college to non-profits and traditional gyms. Fitness is her passion. It brings her great joy to provide a variety of movement programs uniquely designed for senior citizens, cancer patients, health seekers, and other special populations. Her experiences have taught her how important exercise is to quality of life. Her platform, “Fitness is Freedom”, emphasizes finding a safe and appropriate way to move ones body in order to improve quality of life and bring increased joy in how life is lived. It’s all about accepting oneself, finding the right personal level of exercise, and reaping the benefits that improved physical fitness can bring. Her goal is to bring exercise to everyone so they can move through the day happy and feeling good.
